Top 8 Best Online Resources To Learn PreSonus Studio One DAW
Online learning resources, be it courses, videos, written content, one-on-one coaching, apps, et cetera, provide fantastic opportunities to learn (and teach) digital audio workstations like PreSonus' Studio One and audio engineering more broadly. Though nothing truly beats dedicated in-person DAW lessons, there are plenty of excellent alternatives online.
Note that by “resources,” I'm not only referring to video tutoring and full-length courses (though these are arguably the best options). I'm also considering masterclasses, videos, articles, and other online resources for learning the ins and outs of Studio One.
Though obviously subjective and prone to biases, I’ve done my best to list out these resources based on the following metrics (in no particular order):
- Reputation of the learning resource
- Quality of education in features (including built-in virtual instruments and plugins), workflow, arrangement and mixing/mastering
- Organization and depth of learning
- Adaptability of teaching to individual students (one-on-one lessons are best here)

Groove3
Groove3 has an awesome library of courses and tutorials for all things related to music and audio.
The site's Studio One tutorials are organized and thorough. There's no certification training here, but the information provided is sure to give you the skills you need to unlock the potential of this superb DAW.

YouTube is an invaluable free resource from learning Studio One if we know how to use it correctly. Though the distractions are plentiful, there's a wealth of knowledge available.
Furthermore, once we find educators with good information and a compatible teaching style, the YouTube algorithm is likely to present us with more content from the same creators and those similar to them.
Sure, YouTube won't give us a certificate for our knowledge, but if we need to learn something specific in a short timeframe, it's perhaps the greatest free resource available. So, if you want to learn Studio One for free, do some digging through YouTube. You'll eventually learn exactly what you need to know about this excellent DAW.
